Chess Insights feature

Hi all,

Insights is probably one of my favorite feature.

It would be awesome if we could filter with a time frame. Let's say, what were my tendencies for the last three months.

Because for people like me who started with a 900 rating and improved a lot, it would be nice to be able to get rid of the earlier games and see where we could improve with our actual game...

The idea sounds great, but I would not want it to affect the player profile opening list. (.../acpl/opening or ... /result/opening)
The opening reperture list shows our most common openings. We can then use the opening name to seach the web for something educational to help us improve.

Maybe have a default setting of the last 500 games or a slider bar to use the past 500 to 10,000 games.
So we pick a setting, then use the slider bar to see if the numbers get better or worse over time.

Yep, yep time filter.... i think this is what chess insights needs the most currently. Have a slide bar on top of the charts perhaps ? And if it is a two way limitation, it would be even more useful, using data from t=1 month ago to t= 1 week ago, for instance. If this is a rapid rating swing era for example, it could do wonders to elaborate why.

Agreed! A time filter would be most useful.

Actually it could be the one used for the progression chart in the profile.

Anyway I'm glad to know that I'm not alone.... :-)
