In many games a player brings his bishops down
to pin the knights in an attempt to either swap pieces
or disrupt you pawn alignment, Generally I can
position a bishop to respond to avoid the pawns
from being disrupted. My question is I sometimes find
my only option is to bring my Queen out to the 3rd
level to take his bishop after he has taken my knight.
Is this strategy worth it because it exposes my Queen
very early in the game. Or should I just take the
bishop with my pawn and deal with the double decker
pawns. Sometimes it does not appear to be to damaging because it gives the rook a lane. I hope I describes this properly.
Thank you
