Lichess is doing moderation all wrong

Outside of genuinely illegal posts, like death threats, negotiating illegal activity, cp there is really no need for censorship

Censorship is either 1 of 2 things (or both);

1. a 1 size fits all guess at what people don't want to see
2. an attempt to impose your subjective morals onto another

better would be to actually enhance a users ability to self moderate. At Lichess this is severely lacking, blocking another user doesn't actually stop them from interacting with you. with the block system you should not be able to see someone's content and they should not be able to see yours. Obviously you make an exception for moderators so they can stop illegal crap.
Alternatively you could allow users to form their own moderation team, then allow users to select the moderation team they would like to curate posts for them.

power to the people!

This is a website, not a state, so no politics needed. And how are u going to stop multiple accs voting one person all day?

I guess this is your point, that some forum trolls are bothering you (and possibly vice versa, who knows) and you'd prefer that filters hide their comments.
As long as they're consistent and the rules are clear it doesn't really matter which route they take. This is a website where they can do as they please.
From what's happening in the Carlsen Niemann arguings and from what I reported so far, without ever receiving a Someone you reported was banned, I can clearly say moderation is not consistent.

Some individuals are so trolly, so bad-faith, so repressive and outright insulting or harassing other users, but all they get is a warning at best (in fact I even doubt this). On the contrary, on other occasions, other people got muted for way less.

You've just said it, the rules are very clear this is "a website where they can do as they please" which part of your own statement you do not understand??? The point is that doing as they please means TOTAL DICTATORSHIP and all the WRONG VALUES that we DO NOT WANT TO HAVE in a civilized society and against which mankind has struggled in its whole history. Yes, and with these VALUES AS FLAG lichess ask for support as charitable organization ... yeahh, it's clear.
I am tired of telling lichess about their simply wrong doing without any kind of official answer except from their own volunteer trolls that surf the forums to destroy any decent thread or claim. Ahh, wait they are coming with "if you don't like it you can close your account, nobody is going to miss you", how can any LEGIT USER defend those term and conditions??? (unless you are an official volunteer troll) Is lichess proud about it??? I have already closed my account in chess.com because of their INMORAL TOS but here is not much different, the 3 main sites have copied the TOS and adapted to their country of origin legislation, taking advantage of the holes in the law that regulates cyberspace but on the other hand showing what they are really made of and their true values, at the first opportunity they go into the INMORAL DIRECTION very quickly. This is not just a problem exclusively from lichess, all social network is the same BS, I expected that the people in lichess would be different but I was absolutely wrong.Worst of all is they don't even want to change the status quo ... why would they? They are completely blind and drowning in their own ego. How can they expect users to trust an organization with those values??? without trust there is nothing and trust in not in their priority list at all. I do not expect at these heights dignity from lichess or anyother chess site but how about some shame? To be fair not everything is wrong about lichess but their term and conditions hurt anybody's minimun sense of decency and call their own users by the name of idiots. In this life the seeds you plant is what you will crop.
PS Online clocks for 1 min. games do not work by the way, that's another scam but who cares if you do as you want right?
I still don't get what you are talking about. I take it @Artem-Kozirev and @ST4RSCR34M are different account of the same person?
Just explain what they are doing "all wrong"?
