Hello,
I have been using lichess with Mozilla Firefox since I got my account. But today without any reason, it denies the access to the website with a kind of certificate error and this message: MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_REQUIRED_TLS_FEATURE_MISSING
Do you know what I could do to remove this bug?
Same bug here since Firefox went to v52.0.
Configuration
Firefox 52.0 (32 bits)
window 7
weird: no problems for me here (v52.0, Linux, 64-Bit)
I found out you can turn to false "security.ssl.enable_ocsp_must_staple" in about:config if you want to bypass this error for the moment.
support.mozilla.org/t5/Firefox/HTTPS-connection-fails-with-quot-MOZILLA-PKIX-ERROR-REQUIRED-TLS/td-p/1346518Thank you very much, ordic, it worked! But does it affect other websites or features to have made this change?
It shouldnt not affect other website. You're just telling firefox to ignore some https validation.
Anyway, its only a hack, the real solution would be for lichess to examinate and fix the https certificate error.
Are you using any sort of proxy?
AFAICT, ssl grades very high at ssllabs for lichess:
www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=lichess.orgGoogling around, looks like others are experiencing issues with a proxy called Zscaler.
Also, I cannot repro on 52.0 / Win7 nor a newly installed update to 52.0.1
Nah, no proxy.
mattbcheck can you go to about:config in firefox and check the value of security.ssl.enable_ocsp_must_staple
