Final questions(from how invest my chess time to narrow opening repertoire and chess level nowadays)

Hello (li)chess players. I hope you are having a nice day.In this my last and long forum post i would like to tell you all my 5 chess questions that at moment i do not have an answer(and sorry if someone told this questions before,i did not have find them).
1. In these days i am watching fide world cup and in past months i watched a lot of lichess tv or youtube/twitch videos. Is it better going on to watch top game tv or playing my own games and analyze them?(assuming i can do only one of two activities)
2. Chess engines are clearly better than us(correct me if i wrong) so is it better follow games of our world champion(M.C.) or engine world champion(S14)?
3. Superficially i know a bit all main openings but i play always my favourite ones because i like them and i know them deeper day after day: i am not an universal player so can it be good have a limited but quite well prepared opening repertoire?(I hope so,no matter if someone prepares against me)
4.With lichess and online games,do otb games have sense to go on to exist? I mean, here i can sit near my laptop and watch top players games 24h/24. Why should i do 60 or more km to participate in a weekend tournament?
5. A legend of chess recently played a blitz tournament: several years ago he was one of the best chess players of the world but in this tournament he scored 0,5/9. My last question is: did he voluntarily lose games or quality of nowadays is becoming higher and higher?
Hey-o, cya and good luck everyone!
Watching those engines play chess makes me loose faith in humanity, i would rather watch humans playing blitz chess .
1. The latter - one learns by doing.
2. Whatever is more fun to you - I find that Stockfish plays more interesting chess but the appeal to human chess is that you can relate to the players.
3. Limited repertoire for short-term improvement, universal play for long-term improvement.
4. It tends to be much easier to focus in an OTB game, because everyone in the room is playing chess and distractions are minimal. Furthermore, OTB is a more psychological game because you can interact with your opponent to some extent (body language).
5. Garry is just too old to participate at the top level, and he is of course out of shape.
