Question for >2300 players

What's the main difference between 2000 and 2500

Is that solid theory basis, perfect attention or something else?

#3: That "Main difference is *The amount of points it should be to make sense to the thread*" joke is extremely over-used.
#5: Rating? If so: I don't have to be 2000+ to point-out that a joke is extremely overused.

I don't get it
I assume you are taking into consideration lichess ratings. If so, then:
2500 lichess - FIDE Master (2300 FIDE)
2000 lichess - Average club player (1800 FIDE)
The difference in chess skill is pretty high between the two.
The point of an answer like "500 points" is that it is much more germane than an answer like "perfect attention" (whatever that might entail).
2500 players are much more aware of tactical and positional factors than the ones at 2000. This means they spot tactics much faster, are better at setting up pieces for an attack, but also know how to set up the pieces to stay solid and make it hard for the opponent to get any play. The list goes on, of course. The truth is: they are much better at basically all aspects of chess, although endgames are probably the least important in online blitz/rapid.
