How to disable chat?

I said something to a opponent and they felt it to be offensive so i think I was reported. After i received the following message "Accusing other players of using computer assistance or otherwise cheating is not acceptable on lichess. If you are confident that the player is cheating use report. Please note that repeated violation of this policy will result in loss of communication privileges." Many people annoy me too through chat but I never usually report. The last sentence suggests that there is a way to disable chat. Please suggest a way to disable chat or should I keep annoying players until I lose my communication privileges? Please do not suggest zen mode.
If you don't want to enable Zen mode, you could also just uncheck the green box in the upper right of the chat window.

Also, enabling kid mode should disable chat: lichess.org/account/kid

So, it looks like the "something" you said to your opponent is that they are cheating.
You dont need to say a single thing, just a straight report if you are sure about it.

How about not being a jerk and say nothing to begin with? Cause the problem is you, not the rest.

Thank you @AsDaGo and @InkyDarkBird. @Alientcp it seems you have misunderstood me. This was not about the recent game but some past games other people behaved as a jerk to me, i didn't say a thing. This time I acted as a jerk and received that message so thought there might be a way to prevent chatting with players all together.

Not according to what you posted. You are omitting the nature of your message, but the report suggest what the nature of your message was. Looks like you accused some one from cheating over the chat and they reported you for false accusation.
It may not be the case, but thats exactly what it looks like.

Yes. Not chatting. Its simple. You dont type a thing.

Again this is not about the recent game where I initiated the chat. I am talking about when other people initiate it. I don't even want to read the notification of what others are saying.

It does look that some one warned you that you are accusing people of cheating. You did it? I dont know. I dont care.
Im just saying that looks like the nature of the message you sent was a cheating accusation. And you got your report for false accusation. Whatever the reason, thats on you. You are responsible for your actions.

Are you so immature that you are gonna get carried away about something a random guy said to you?
The response is your responsibility. Just ignore and press next. If the message is offensive, just report. If its particularly offensive, just resign, report and ask for a refund, as one clearly cant play when getting insulted.

Just dont type. and ignore Thats it. Its simple.

That's the thing I am not asking for a judgement of my maturity level. I was just looking for a way to disable chat and that's what the question says. And here you are just giving me advice on other things like be mature enough, don't chat etc. I will make the question clear once more to you " how to disable chat?" That's it.

If you uncheck the green box, you won't be able to see what your opponent is saying if I'm not mistaken. Isn't that what you want?
