Warning about a new scam

On Google Discovery I've seen this twice. A purported Google Security alert claiming your phone has been infected with malware. Do not click on allow,exit the story and do a virus scan immediately. My understanding is that Google security will contact you via email and not by a spurious pop up.

How do you know this is a scam? it didn't happen to me but I'm just curious

I investigated it by googling Google security alerts. I never click on allow unless I know what I'm allowing. These types of scams usually involve a scare tactic.

Will our phone change to some Italienne hacked device and then we only see green italienne codes which totally means hacking if we allow?

do these scams still exist, i remember they were a thing back in 2011, a lot of them are not scams, and the scams are mostly filtered by the spam filters, if this do occur and you did not use you acc for anything just don't bother enttering
