Losers Who Refuse Undos

#8 Vaudir, there is nothing lousy and bad about a person if one does not accept takeback. There are rules and regulations to be followed. If you want to accept takeback, state it to your opponent before you start the game that we play "takeback chess accept". Then you has started a new variant of chess. bye friend
Takebacks only have purpose in training games - even then there is disagreement, but I accept them in training games .
No takebacks. Mistakes are your fault. Learn to either avoid them or accept them. It will make you a better player and a better person.

(yes, even mouseslips are your fault--there is an option in preferences to add a confirmation button before your move is sent--enabling that gives you the option to double-check that your move was entered correctly before committing to it. If you decide you need to move faster because you chose a fast time control or used too much time in your game up to that point, that is also something that was under your control)
In a casual game I always give takebacks, but in a rated one ???

I did once, but after giving a silly man 3 of them, when I asked for one, he refused.
Sad but there it is
#14 there it is. People with takebacks are generally jerks and selfish fools.
If I'm playing a beginner I'll generally not only allow takebacks, but occasionally suggest them.

The only time I would ask for a takeback is, for example, if I start to play out a mate in five and then notice there's a mate in four. Usually they won't grant those types of takebacks anyway.
#1 Ridiculous comment. This is a competitive. You are saying takebacks should be granted
everytime no matter what or we suck?
I never ask for them but am fair in granting them.
I generally grant them in the early stages of a game, an immediate request, a lower level chess player, a frequent competitor, an obvious misclick, etc. I will not grant one in
an end game, if it puts me in a no win situation. Its up to
the individual player and their own philosophy. And like
another post stated, the ratings do mean something.
And Monaco, how do you know a blunder is in reality a missclick ?
I can't play a very bad move and say « Sorry, missclick » after that because I realised that move is bad.
The sense of entitlement some players have in online chess is remarkable. The only thing a player should "demand" from his opponent is to play the game fairly and to respectfully resign if they wish to quit. Takebacks are a privilege, not a right.
Hey, I may be an asshole for refusing to babysit you through your blunders, but you begging for a take-back is just pathetic.
