Notes or Tips on team management features

For anybody considering taking the job of team leader or starting a new team for the first time.
If we missed a spot please ask.
Thread deletion:
Deleting the first post of any team forum thread will destroy the whole thread, empty or not.

So, unless you want to delete a thread (to change its title, or other reason), don't do that.
This has been learned right here, the hard way, by myself.
Don't delete the first post of a long thread, without backup. worth repeating.
Post editing time window: 3 Hours.
Leaders and members have same editing time window that lasts 3 hours after last edit reset. Same as in open forums.

I tested in some open forum thread asking for that, in feedback, while waiting for an answer.
(find link just for fun and completion).
Intentional Closing of thread
Making a thread Stick to top of forum front page
Automatic thread Archival (closing).

On each thread, the team leader has access to a "Close" button and a "Sticky" button when thread is new, right on top of the reply text box, to the right. These act as Toggles, and are reversible (Re-open, and Un-sticky are the flipped versions).

Note that this is different from automatic thread closing for archival by lichess, which happens sometime after 27 days (4 weeks) per the time stamp of the last post in the thread.

TODO: We have not tested the interaction between this Automatic Archival by lichess and the two features above, yet. The inbox, since it is closed by design, would enable that test in a month.
Thread maintenance:
As thread are automatically archived by lichess after 4 weeks without a new post, I have been bumping threads before the 27th day, by posting meaningless posts, lately trying 3 letter ones (minimum size of a post), like "bop" or even " "; that's 3 spaces. That works for one thread.

Anomaly: (feature?) Attempting to use the 3 spaces bump post on another thread, would magically teleport me to the last thread where i used that 3 spaces post. Repeatedly. No new post, in the end. Impossible to do.

Luckily: 4 spaces post will work though, for the second thread.
Hypothesis: keep adding spaces to bumping post for additional soon-to-be-archived threads.
@Bishop1964 has also done experiments on team management interface features, exchanging with me, bouncing off questions and results. lichess.org/forum/team-angels-and-demons/angels-and-demons-forum#7

This post is a summary of his findings in his private team (blog?) There are some common points, but also other questions answered there, and perhaps a more systematic presentation than here.

I also used a personal private blog-team for my experiments in order to have the freedom to mess-up, and not to interfere with this team here, that blog-experimental-team has been dissolved, as that was also something to learn as management feature (another small modular, and expandable, post here, later).

This thread is where i try to summarize the results from that experience. I am trying to leave out the messy learning process. But I keep finding new angles not yet explored, caveats i could not yet imagine in my initial testing. Ideas for testing welcome, BTW.
#6 Teleportation funk happens for 4 spaces same bump post, need adding another space. some fun. wonder if this is for any string content.
